Seaphia is the result of 5 years of strategizing how to best plan and execute innovative aquatecture projects with special regulatory frameworks. Seaphia's founder thought of a consulting and business development company after completing her PhD at the University of Warwick in the UK on complex governance systems, where she worked on and studied floating special economic zones governed using blockchain technologies. She saw the need for a one-stop-shop service provider for this growing industry.
From there that at Seaphia understand the social, environmental, political, legal, and economic complexity of floating and new zone developments better than anyone. Today, Seaphia works behind the scenes with project developers, Special Economic Zones, marinas to aquatecture architects and engineers helping get their projects off the ground.
Blockchain Zones and floating cities are 2 realities that cannot be overlooked. My approach starts from acknowledging that developing succesful projects is a multistakeholder process, better built from the ground up.
