We have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the most important program of the European Union for climate action, Climate-Kic.
With this MOU, we became organizers of a Climathon in the city of Baranquilla in November 2020. A Climathon is an ideathon. It's a kind of hackathon, but focused on climate and green issues in a particular city.
The Climathon will focus on solving problems and proposing ideas related to BLUE. That is, the river, the swamp and the sea in Barranquilla. These ideas will be proposed by our sponsors. We hope that the best ideas will go to our accelerator program, ClimateLaunchpar.org, which we will launch next year in Barranquilla, after two successful years in Bogotá and Cali.
Right now, we are forming our team in Barranquilla to organize the Climathon. We need:
Sponsors Leader: This person will be in charge of managing the relations with the sponsors of the ideathon and other activities related to Climathon. He will coordinate the participation of partners during the events (eg as moderator, trainer, workshop organizer).
Web developer: this person will be in charge of updating all the online information about the Climathon in the city.
Ideathon Leader: This person will take care of the logistics on the day of the event, putting all the pieces together.
Volunteer leader: This person will coordinate the participation of the volunteers in the event.
